Phil Ranta

We couldn’t be more excited to have Phil Ranta on our team of advisors. Phil Ranta is the Chief Executive Officer at Wormhole Labs, a technology company that built a platform for user-generated metaverses. As Head of Gaming Creators, North America at Facebook, Phil achieved over 5x departmental growth in his first year, signing exclusive streaming contracts with DisguisedToast, Corinna Kopf, and UFC / WWE superstar Ronda Rousey. Phil also built two of the largest creator networks in the world as COO at Studio71 and VP, Networks at Fullscreen, both successfully exited (to ProSieben and Otter Media, a joint venture between AT&T and Peter Chernin, respectively). Other roles include Head of Creators at Mobcrush, a live streaming technology with hundreds of thousands of authenticated users, Executive Producer at Viva! Vision, producing content delivered to over 250 million mobile phones worldwide, and content creator who produced videos and podcasts that have achieved hundreds of millions of views and downloads.

Mark Koops

Another member of our advisory team is Mark Koops. Mark has been on the cutting edge of innovative content for nearly 20 years. He is responsible for developing, creating, and showrunning thousands of hours of programming, including unscripted TV juggernauts The Biggest Loser (NBC) and Masterchef (Fox) and groundbreaking non-linear projects like then real-time doc series @Summerbreak, the Emmy-nominated comedic anthology The Crossroads of History, and the Emmy-nominated hybrid comedy Making a Scene with James Franco. His full-service independent production company, INE Entertainment, founded in 2011, was born out of a mission to combine great storytelling with innovative producing as the best way to serve tomorrow’s linear and non-linear distributors, an increasingly diverse community of talent in front of and behind the camera, and the progressively dynamic relationship between audiences, media platforms, and brands.

Shira Lazar

Shira Lazar is the Founder/CEO of the Emmy Nominated digital media brand, What’s Trending. She is a Web3 advocate, collector, and advises as well as consults with companies in the space relating to cryptocurrency, NFTs and the metaverse. As a broadcaster, Shira uses her platforms to create content and education around Web3 bridging the gap between the industry, creators and consumers. You can listen to her popular Twitter spaces shows #AlphaMondays and Women in Web3 Weekly Wednesdays at 6pm. She also recently launched Inside Web3 with KNX News airing weekly on 97.1FM in Los Angeles and live streaming on the Audacy app. While the industry is young and growing quickly, Shira has already planted her flag as a leading female voice, appearing on stage at major conferences and events including VEECON, NFTLA, AVAX’s Avalanche Summit and SXSW with keynote speaker Mark Cuban. Shira has been named one of Fast Company’s Most Influential Women in Technology, Huffington Post’s “Women in Tech to follow on Twitter”, and was honored on the Variety Women of Impact list and Cynopsis Top Women In Digital.

Ronald Erickson

Rawn Erickson II President co-founder of The Machine a Multi Company Network focused on influencer marketing and branded content development. Previously co-founder of Maker Studios the first Multi Channel Network he worked as a content creator, producer, and talent acquisition before exiting to Disney in 2014. With over a decade in “digital” Rawn has been a part of building the social media marketing ecosystem that is now an integral part of every brand campaign.

Dante Basco

From breakdancing in the streets of San Francisco to starring in movies on the silver screen, Dante Basco has become one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood and truly an Asian American icon with a career spanning over three decades. He was first introduced in Steven Spielberg’s fairytale movie Hook, as “Rufio”, the leader of the Lost Boys, which quickly developed into a fandom phenomenon. With more than 100 credits to his name, he’s found success in film, as well as television starting at a very early age on hit shows such as, The Wonder Years, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Moesha, Nash Bridges, Touched by an Angel, and Providence, CSI: Miami, Entourage and Hawaii Five-0. Ever versatile, Dante has voiced some of the most celebrated projects in animation and video games. As the voice of “Jake Long” in Disney’s animated series American Dragon: Jake Long, as well as “Prince Zuko” in Nickelodeon’s phenomenal hit, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dante’s extensive acting training has helped bring these characters to life. A man of many talents, Dante is the founder of the largest weekly poetry venue in the country, “Da Poetry Lounge” in Los Angeles, with a 400+ turn out every Tuesday night since 1995, as well as appearances on HBO’s “Def Poetry Jam”. Dante now is realizing his potential as a visual storyteller, directing multiple films including the recently released film “The Fabulous Filipino Brothers”, currently on HULU.

Rania Batrice

Rania Batrice is a first generation Palestinian, born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. As the only daughter in a conservative family, bravery and perseverance has defined her upbringing as a leader in progressive movements in the U.S. and around the world. Rania has worked as a Democratic operative for over two decades, lending her voice, story, and expertise in a variety of fields including through political, non-profit, and legislative strategies as well as crisis management. Rania served in Bernie Sanders’s 2016 run for president in a number of roles, including as National Director of Surrogates and Deputy Campaign Manager. Following the primary, Rania continued to work with the DNC to develop, increase, and inspire progressive outreach with Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign during his General Election appearances. While her work has centered on strategy, communications, and development, her portfolio has expanded to even include years of experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and organizational development. Rania and her firm, Batrice and Associates, have continued to work toward social justice, equality, and progress through a variety of avenues including developing, advising, and furthering partnerships with organizations such as Change the Ref, New American Leaders, the Arab American Institute, March for Our Lives, Terence Crutcher Foundation, Human Rights Watch, Sunrise Movement, Known Holdings and more.

Keith Arem

As Creative Director and CEO of PCB Productions, Keith Arem brings over 25 years of interdisciplinary experience to his work in film, music, interactive, VR/AR and AAA video games.

Arem is the performance director for many of the top-grossing game titles in history, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 & 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1, 2 & 3. Keith has worked with clients such as Activision, Ubisoft, Sony, Sega, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Capcom, Disney and has recorded and produced over 600 commercial releases, including franchises for Call of Duty, Spider-Man, Final Fantasy, Yakuza, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Persona, Rainbow Six, Monster Hunter and Titanfall. Integrating his musical background (Contagion / Capitol Records) with his experience as a director, creator and writer, Arem weaves rich immersive stories across multiple platforms and formats. Arem recently directed his first motion picture, Phoenix Incident, and is developing several additional feature film, interactive and television projects, many of which are based on his highly successful graphic novels including “Ascend,” “Infex” and “Dead Speed.”
