The feeling of completing a task on your own is unmatchable. Whether the process is easy or overwhelming, the end result is definitely fulfilling and satisfying. People have been crafting things with their own hands for a long time now, but there was a shift in this account when mass production of ready-made things came into play; However, lately, many have taken an interest in the art of DIY, putting it on-trend one more time. Apart from being pocket-friendly and sustainable, DIY is fun to do. It is not only good for you but also for your soul. And that is why Nicole Francis loves doing DIY projects around her house, which also compelled her to start 1776 Faux Farmhouse .

Nicole and her husband, Michael, came up with the idea of the 1776 Faux Farmhouse when they started tackling DIY upgrades in their builder-grade home. Amidst their home improvement affair, they decided to share their journey and other valuable knowledge with the world.

Since her childhood, Nicole has witnessed DIY projects happening around her, thanks to her parents. So, it was no surprise that she was confident in taking on the DIY challenge. In 2017, Nicole and Michael set out to invest in their DIY adventures, figuring out the nitty-gritty as they went. Then a year later, the couple welcomed their daughter into the world, and Nicole decided to bid adieu to her teaching job and become a stay-at-home mom. During that time, Nicole turned to DIY while building a community as a home content creator; the rest is history.

As of today, it wouldn’t be an understatement if we referred to Nicole as “a DIY queen.” Not to mention, Michael has been quite skilled as well. In short, no challenge is too big for them. Not only are they creating the home of their dreams, but they are also inspiring other people to do the same. They also share tutorials and how-to blogs with their thousands of followers so they can improve their homes and unleash their creative side.
