Making celeb events appear as glamorous as they are in person is no mean feat, but Dante Hillmedo has the gift.
Brushing shoulders with the likes of Beyonce, Jay Z, and Megan Thee Stallion might seem like a dream come true to some, but to Andrew Hillmedo, it’s just another day at the office. This videographer to the stars is in constant demand to film the next big party, event, or launch night. This full calendar has spurred Hillmedo on to start his own production company, a talented pool of creativity that he calls Team ELITE Productions.
Although ideally used to the glitz and glamour of those walking the red carpet, Dante doesn’t let it get to his head. For this young video rockstar, visual content creation is on another level to the norm. He aims to create pieces that are artistically representative of the people he films. He wants to produce content worthy of VH1, Essence Magazine, and Bad Boy Entertainment – and he has worked with all three of the above in the process.
Who is Andrew Hillmedo?
Andrew Hillmedo, also known as Dante, set out to create his own production company and photography service from his base in New York City. One of the state’s known videographers, Dante, has worked with Dreamdoll and Ding Dong Ravers, Lil Kim, Mona Scott-Young, and many others.
His production company has been in operation for a few years now and has racked up a following online. You can watch the Team Elite Video Reel from as far back as 2017 on YouTube. You will also be able to browse some of his short films here.
As well as an impressive list of celebrity clients, Dante has amassed plenty of followers on social media, too. His job takes him all over the state and sometimes all over the USA. This allows him to network full force, leading him to have connections all over the country. Arguably, it is this network that will help him make the transition from filming celeb events to filming his movies soon.
The Future for Andrew “Dante” Hillmedo
Although Andrew Hillmedo has a background in video and photography, he has recently set his sights on the film industry. He recently released his web series, a crime drama called ‘Breakaway.’ To pursue further his dream of making it to the silver screen, Dante Hillmedo is set to start production on his horror film later in 2021. The release date is yet to be determined, but we know that the movie will be entitled ‘Mother’ and sure to shock and stun.
