UPDATE:  Oreo says that given recent guidance from The L.A. Department of Public Health and national health authorities, the event at the Santa Monica Pier has been cancelled.

Monday will be cloudy with a chance of meatballs, there’s a three-story, five-lane Oreo slide on the Santa Monica Pier and free tacos at the Burbank El Pollo Loco — here’s what’s popping up.

Friday, March 6-Saturday, March 7 (CANCELLED)

Oreo is making the final stop on their nationwide tour, taking over the Santa Monica Pier with a gigantic, five-lane slide measuring nearly 3-stories high. As part of the brand’s What’s Your Stuf? campaign, Oreo is making the Santa Monica pier even more playful and asking its fans to answer the burning question: What is the perfect Oreo cookie-to-creme ratio?  L.A. cookie-lovers will vote for their ideal level of filling in the most playful way, by sliding down one of the five lanes: Oreo Thins, Oreo Original, Oreo Double Stuf, Oreo Mega Stuf, or the Oreo Most Stuf. An on-site leaderboard will tally results in real-time and everyone who stops by will receive a sample of their OREO cookie of choice.
