Steve Poizner has a message for that sliver of the electorate that speaks Spanish, votes Republican, opposes Pete Wilson and Prop. 187, but supports the Arizona immigration law:

This is the political equivalent of a reverse triple backflip into a half somersault with no splash. English translation after the jump.

Narrator: Don't you hate it when politicians say

one thing to one group and something else to another? That's what Meg

Whitman is doing. Here is the radio spot that she does not want us to

hear.

Pete Wilson: This is former Governor Pete

Wilson. I know how important it is to stop illegal immigration and I

know Meg Whitman. Meg will be tough as nails on illegal immigration.

She'll fight to secure our border and go after sanctuary cities.

Narrator: Meg Whitman thinks that she can fool

us. We deserve more respect.

Steve Poizner tells it straight. We may not always agree with

him, but he isn't playing games. He's a strong believer in legal

immigration and an opponent of illegal immigration. He supports the

Arizona Law.

For Steve Poizner, public service isn't about doing what's

popular, it's about doing what he believes is right. Isn't time for a

politician we can trust?

Steve Poizner: Paid for by Steve Poizner for

Governor 2010.
