Rejoice, McRib lovers! Beginning today, the McRib sandwich, with its strange but undeniable sway over its devotees, returns to McDonald's restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. Shaped to look like ribs and slathered in bright red BBQ sauce, the boneless pork patty will sell for $2.79 at most locations.

In case you care about such things, the McRib has 500 calories, 240 of which come from fat, and 980 mg of sodium. Still better for you than KFC's 680-calorie Cheesy Bacon Bowl.
