ATV Crash on Young Creek Road Left Maureen Gagne Dead
MENDOCINO COUNTY, CA (July 6, 2023) – Saturday evening, Maureen Gagne was killed in an ATV crash on Young Creek Road. The deadly crash happened around 6:00 p.m. on the 4300 block of Young Creek Road. According to the police, a 2013 Police Ranger ATV driven by Gagne went off the road and flipped over onto its left side. As a result, the vehicle collapsed on top of her, pinning her under its weight. Emergency crews arrived shortly after and transported her to a local hospital. Unfortunately, the driver was declared dead while on the way to the hospital. Moreover, a large portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties but has since been reopened. Speed, drugs, or alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
