Mastodon celebrated the release of their latest album, Emperor of Sand, with an intimate and exclusive live performance at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Tuesday, April 4. Fans who purchased the album from the store received a spot inside the limited space. After playing for nearly an hour, Mastodon closed the show by expressing their support and encouragement for brick-and-mortar music stores such as Amoeba.
