The Long Beach Carnevale is a masquerade in the fashion of the carnival of Venice, Italy. The event's main focus is the many elaborate masked costumes that people show off, as well as the crowd (of about 150 photographers) that participates with them. The 2016 Carnevale featured mythic animals, feathered dancers and henna tattooing, all at the Aquarium of the Pacific. All photos by Star Foreman
