30-Year-Old Man Charged for DUI after Accident on Lower Sacramento Road

LODI, CA (December 14, 2021) – California Highway Patrol arrested 30-year-old Mason Russell after a DUI collision on West Elm Street.

Officers responded to the incident around 9:26 p.m., in the area of West Elm Street and Lower Sacramento Road. Per reports, Russell was under the influence of alcohol when he slammed into another car.

According to the officials, both vehicles suffered major damage.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit suffered from life-threatening injuries. Paramedics rushed them to Lodi Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Although, authorities have not released their identity.

Eventually, authorities arrested 30-year-old Mason Russell for felony DUI. He was held at San Joaquin County Jail on a $500,000 bail.

At this time, Lodi officers are investigating the collision.
