Vehicle Collision Near 263rd Street Left One killed, Three Injured

ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (March 2, 2022) – On Sunday, a crash on State Route 18 left Marybell Delgadillo and Maria Delapaz Lozano injured.

Authorities said the crash took place on State Route 18 west of 263rd Street East around 11:15 p.m.

Furthermore, the female motorcyclist was reportedly driving a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a male passenger, heading eastbound on State Route 18.

Consequently, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle ran over the double yellow lines into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota heading westbound.

Eventually, the female motorcyclist died at the scene while paramedics took her passenger to Antelope Valley Hospital with serious injuries. Their identities remain withheld as of this time.

Meanwhile Delgadillo and Lozano, the occupants of the Toyota vehicle, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at the scene.

The crash is under active investigation.
