Fatal Pedestrian Collision near Florence Avenue in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 22, 2021) – Police are investigating a pedestrian crash that claimed the life of Mary Sims Monday morning.

The fatal incident occurred just after 12:15 a.m. at the southbound Harbor Freeway at the Florence Avenue off-ramp.

According to the first responders, 67-year-old Mary Sims died at the scene. Later on, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office classified Sim’s death as an accident.

Officials later issued a SigAlert at the southbound lanes No. 4 and 5, and Florence Avenue off-ramp for the investigation.
