Head-On Crash on Rancho California Road Left Mary Mercado Dead

TEMECULA, CA (November 17, 2021) – A head-on crash on Rancho California Road claimed the life of Mary Mercado Monday morning.

Authorities responded to the incident that occurred around 11:30 a.m. about 65 feet West of Via Vueltas.

Upon arrival, officers determined that the collision involved an SUV and a sedan.

As a result, paramedics transported two people to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

However, the first responders declared 22-year-old Mary Mercado dead at the scene.

At this time, the California Highway Patrol are investigating the fatal incident on Rancho California Road.
