Motorcycle Collision near Magnolia Avenue Left 1 Fatality

RIVERSIDE, CA (July 11, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, 48-year-old Marvin Walker lost his life in a motorcycle accident on 91 Freeway.

The incident took place on eastbound 91, along Magnolia Avenue, around 4:45 a.m.

According to the report, a Tesla Model Y driver traveled behind Walker’s Yamaha V-Star in the HOV lane.

For reasons currently unknown, the vehicles collided. Due to the force of the impact Walker was ejected from his motorcycle onto the freeway.

First responders and medical personnel pronounced Walker dead at the scene. Afterward, authorities closed down the eastbound lanes of the 91 for an extended period of time to perform cleanup and preliminary duties. Meanwhile, the unidentified Tesla driver involved in the crash was unharmed.

At this time, Riverside police are investigating the fatal collision and will release further information once available.
