54-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Dunlap Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (April 28, 2023) – Wednesday night, Marvin Denny was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on 19th Avenue. Police responded to the scene just before 8:00 p.m., just south of Dunlap Avenue on April 12th. According to reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck Denny as he was crossing 19th Avenue against a red light. Paramedics arrived and pronounced 54-year-old Denny dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. At this time, no arrests or citations were made and an active investigation is still currently underway.
