2 Dead in Traffic Accident on Date Palm Drive
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (September 13, 2022) – On Sunday morning, Martin Marquez and Jason Paige died following a crash on Ramon Road.
The incident happened on September 4th at approximately 8:30 a.m., per initial reports.
According to the Cathedral City Fire Department, one vehicle was driving northbound on Date Palm Drive and crossed over into the southbound lanes for reasons unknown.
Furthermore, one vehicle was unable to avoid the wreckage and crashed head-on. As a result, the crash claimed the lives of Marquez and Paige.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened.
