Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Collision near Garlock Road

RIDGECREST, CA (May 19, 2022) – 59-year-old Mark Strother was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 395, Friday afternoon.

According to the police, the accident occurred just after 2:30 p.m., just north of Garlock Road.

Per reports, Strother was riding a motorcycle that collided with a Freightliner. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Authorities also stated that medical personnel pronounced Strother, of Baton Rouge Louisiana dead on scene.

At this time, Ridgecrest Officials are still working to identify further circumstances surrounding the deadly motorcycle crash.
