48-Year-Old Victim Pronounced Dead after UTV Accident near State Route 74

PEORIA, AZ (May 6, 2022) – 48-year-old Mark Seigh was pronounced dead Saturday, after crashing an ATV near State Route 74.

Just after 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to the scene in an unincorporated area after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

When deputies arrived, they learned that two occupants were in a Utility Terrain Vehicle, when it overturned. However, the events leading up still remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced Seigh dead at the scene.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still ongoing.
