Head-On Collision on Harding Road Left 4 Injured, One Dead
MERCED COUNTY, CA (July 5, 2022) – A car crash on North Vincent Road claimed the life of Mark Keach, Tuesday morning.
According to the report, the crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. along Vincent Road, north of Harding Road.
Furthermore, the Investigators said a southbound Infiniti SUV driven by 44-year-old Mercedes Adams drifted off to the side of the road.
However, Adams overcorrected and went on the northbound side where she collided head-on with Keach driving a Chevrolet Cruze.
Unfortunately, 56-year-old Mark Keach of Atwater succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, Keach’s passengers, 21-year-old Logan Keach, and a 17-year-old male were airlifted to nearby hospitals in a critical condition.
In addition, Adams and her 2-year-old passenger, Jasmine Dontz from Indiana also sustained serious injuries.
At this time, Merced County Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash. An active investigation is currently ongoing at this time.
