18-Year-Old Victim Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Westminster Boulevard
WESTMINSTER, CA (January 25, 2022) – Marisol Martinez Rebeles died early Sunday morning in a 2-car accident on 405 Freeway.
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:45 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Westminster Boulevard.
Investigators say the collision involved an SUV and a sedan. However, the events leading up to the incident still remain unclear. Additionally, reports indicate that another vehicle also crashed into the center divider of the freeway as a result.
Crews arrived and pronounced 18-year-old Rebeles, of Compton dead at the scene. Although, no additional information has been made public at this time.
The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
