An alleged thug who cops say threatened a man and tried to burn down his Mid-City home because of a drug debt owed by a relative of the victim was nabbed on the boat he lived on in Marina Del Rey, cops say.

Who knew the (alleged) bad guys live large? Oh yeah, everybody.

The arrest of 29-year-old Dane Reynaldo, who was hit this week with drug charges, criminal threats, possession of a firearm by a felon and more, was announced late Wednesday by the LAPD. They say he …

… threatened the safety of a Mid-City man and his family over the debt. The victim, who was not ID'd, reported the threats Feb . 6.

Then, the same night, L.A. firefighters were called the victim's home after a Molotov cocktail was tossed there. No damage was reported, and L.A. Fire Department arson investigators collected the evidence.

Cops say the “credible” threat was this:

The man allegedly said the victim better come up with the drug money by last Friday or harm would come to him.

That day, instead of violence, there was arrest. Suspect Reynaldo was tracked down on that boat. Then officers served a search warrant on his West L.A. residence and allegedly found drugs and a handgun.

Reynaldo was being held in lieu of $1,035,000 bail.

Detectives appear to be fishing for more info about the suspect and asked anyone who might have more 411 on the case to call them at 213-473-0510 or 213-922-8205.
