This is a "two-fer" dispensary because there are two reasons to visit. Besides offering great marijuana strains, Downtown Highway Collective is worth the visit for a look at the walls painted by some of LA's best muralists. We're talkin' MSK crew, Vyal, Blah, Reck, Gunz from New York, Domer and Chaka. The outside wall is a masterpiece painted by GSF crew. If you're a "playa" and you're waiting to get your meds, you can spend a little time shooting hoops at the indoor basketball court. But the reason for going is for the good stuff. According to Candi the manager "we're a one-stop shop. There's nothing we don't carry." Located at Alameda Street, the place is directly under the 10 Freeway. As a matter of fact, the 10 Freeway IS the roof. There are five televisions and if there's a sporting event on, the TVs are tuned in especially for a Lakers game. But b-ball isn't why you came either. Try out strains like Marilyn Jane OG, Paris OG, Charlie Sheen OG or King Louie XIII. Some of their middlin' strains include King Kong and Herojuana. They even sell shake for $15 an eighth-ounce.
