Cops acting on a tip discovered $4 million worth of marijuana in a Diamond Bar house, sheriff's officials said today.
In a statement deputies called the operation “an elaborate marijuana grow system” that included the alleged theft of more than $100,000 worth of electricity, ostensibly for grow lights, irrigation systems and and cooling fans, from Southern California Edison.
The bust was made …

The neighborhood of single-family tract homes features curvy streets, cul-de-sacs and a very suburban vibe.
Deputies set up at the home and detained two suspects as they left the house, according to the sheriff's department.
After getting a search warrant, they allege they found 1,000 plants growing and 400 pounds of weed ready to go.
Arrestees, according to the sheriff's statement, included:
Guoyun Zheng … 43 yrs of age, resident of city El Monte, was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale with a bail set at $100,000.
Bat Chenh … 32 yrs old, resident of Alhambra, was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale in lieu of $100,000 bail.
They were due in court today.
