Four guys who tried to rob a Venice marijuana dispensary left with blunt bruises instead of good weed.

It happened over the weekend at Venezia Discount Collective on Washington Boulevard, according to KTLA News.

Turns out the owner is a martial arts practitioner who kicked some ass. The alleged bad guys left buds of cannabis on the sidewalk as they ran away. Evidence of that was caught on video:

The station says it all started when an ex-employee showed up with three friends and demanded pay for past work: The situation escalated into an alleged robbery as weed was grabbed, KTLA says.

The owner was having none of it and went mano-a-mano with these guys, apparently showing enough skill to get them to flee.

One suspect, however, was arrested. (Video shows him scraped up in the back of a black-and-white).

KTLA says it happened 6 p.m. Sunday.

The moral of the story? If you have a problem with an old boss, take him to court (before he takes you to school).
