Dennis RomeroCops today were on the lookout for 25-year-old Cornell White, a customer who they say helped two accomplices carry out a takeover robbery of a downtown adjacent pot shop that ended in shooting and bloodshed.

The crime happened on July 17 around 11 a.m. at the dispensary …
… in the 1300 block of West Olympic Boulevard, but the LAPD today released security video (after the jump) and still frames of suspect White and two other men with the hope that someone will drop a dime on them.
During the robbery White allegedly distracted the security guard while the suspected accomplices “attacked” him, wrestled him to the ground, and beat him, apparently with a gun, according to cops and the video.
Suspects took cash and marijuana while the guard and a shop operator were held at gunpoint, police said.
The video and block number match up to a dispensary called Nature's Wonder Caregivers at 1330 W. Olympic Boulevard.
After the beat-down, the trio left the shop but were chased by the 34-year-old guard, who was then shot outside, says an LAPD statement. The man was taken to a hospital in stable condition and was expected to survive. According to the department:
The security guard chased after the trio and was shot by one of the suspects as he neared the corner of 11th Street and Albany Street. The suspects entered a 1985 two-door Toyota Celica and drove off with White behind the wheel.
Hours later, cops say, they stopped that car and arrested 28-year-old Brandon Mabson-
Martin, another alleged accomplice who might have spent time as a wheel-man after the takedown, according to the LAPD.
Mabson-Martin was booked on suspicion of robbery but bailed out despite the $150,000 price tag (bail bonds business can usually spring people for 10 percent or so of the bail amount).
