We've said it before: Be careful not to attract attention when you're (allegedly) growing weed.
In today's case we have a guy in Sun Valley fortunate enough to be the proud owner of five marijuana plants, cops say, but unfortunately enough to have them burn in a garage fire that brought out the authorities.
Yep. It all happened …
… at a residence in the 9100 block of La Tuna Canyon Road about 5:25 a.m yesterday, police told City News Service.
Firefighters got the call about the blaze at 4:57 a.m. and had the flames finished off 10 minutes later, according to the L.A. Fire Department.
Maybe green was the suspect's lucky color, however, because he was not arrested: When cops arrived they only cited him for allegedly possessing pot.
