Updated with three locations hit by authorities — after the jump.

You would think authorities in L.A. would just let stoners have their holiday in this here pot shop capital of the nation.

But no. LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman tells the Weekly that cops are serving a search warrant today at a location in the 1300 block of Ocean Front Walk that appears to be a medical marijuana dispensary.

Bummer, man.

The website and Twitter feed Venice 311 indicated that raids were carried out at more than one location in the area by law enforcement that included sheriff's deputies and K-9 units.

The LAPD could only confirm that one shop was raided.

Video posted by Venice 311 shows a dispensary called Kush Doctor being raided.

Guess the doctor is not in. Not today.

Update: City News Service found out that there were three locations in close proximity that were raided today.

Jennifer Simoes of the California Medical Board said warrants were served at 1811 Ocean Front Walk, 1313 Ocean Front Walk and on the southwest corner of Ocean Front Walk and North Venice Boulevard.

All those spots are run by Kush Dr. LLC, she told CNS. Kush Dr. is listed as a place where you can get a medical marijuana recommendation (not actual weed — like at a dispensary — we presume).

Sandi Gibbons of the D.A.'s office says:

Our major narcotics division is working with the Medical Board on this investigation but I can't tell you anymore about it at this time, because it's an ongoing criminal investigation.
