40-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Multi-Car Crash near West Avenue L
LANCASTER, CA (November 14, 2022) – Friday afternoon, Maricelia Valenzuela was killed in a rollover accident on Antelope Valley Freeway.
The multi-car crash happened around 3:00 p.m. along the northbound 14 Freeway, just north of West Avenue L on November 4th.
According to reports, Valenzuela was driving a 2020 Toyota Corolla at a high rate of speed and veered into the center median. Upon impact, she lost control and traveled across all lanes before becoming airborne and striking two other vehicles.
The Corolla then overturned multiple times before coming to a stop in the parking lot of a nearby Antelope Valley Chevrolet. Medics arrived and pronounced 40-year-old Valenzuela, of Rosamond dead at the scene.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
