Fatal Three-Car Accident on Garfield Avenue in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 15, 2021) – Thursday night, Maribel Amador-Varela was killed in a deadly collision on Olympic Boulevard.
Officers responded to the scene around 9:49 p.m., near the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Garfield Avenue.
Police say three vehicles were involved in the fatal accident. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
One of the deceased victims was later identified as 56-year-old Maribel Amador-Varela. Medics say she suffered multiple blunt force traumatic wounds before succumbing to her injuries.
Moreover, the surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.
