61-Year-Old Pedestrian Maria Monaco De Lopez Fatally Struck near San Rafael Avenue

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 21, 2022) – Tuesday Morning, a pedestrian accident on Cerrito Street claimed the life of Maria Monaco De Lopez.

The incident happened at around 8:15 a.m., near the intersection of Cerrito Street and San Rafael Avenue.

According to reports, De Lopez was crossing the street when she was struck by a pickup truck. The impact of the collision left her with serious injuries.

Emergency Crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and transported De Lopez to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center for treatment.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 61-year-old Maria Monaco De Lopez of Las Vegas dead the following Thursday.
