Domenigoni Parkway Head-On-Crash Crash Left Maria Hernandez Dead

WINCHESTER, CA (October 20, 2021) – A deadly motorcycle crash on Domenigoni Parkway claimed the life of Maria Hernandez Friday evening.

The incident happened around 9:40 p.m.. on Domenigoni Parkway, west of State Route 79. Dispatchers responded to the area shortly after.

According to the investigators, an eastbound blue 2007 Toyota Yaris traveling at a high rate of speed approached a slower moving vehicle in the number 1 lane.

Afterwards, the Toyota veered to the left and entered the center median, passing the slower vehicle.

However, the Toyota driver lost control and entered the westbound lanes, colliding head-on with a white Dodge pickup truck.

Eventually, the responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the female Yaris driver dead at the scene.

The coroner’s office later identified the female driver as the 43-year-old Maria Hernandez, of Hemet.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old man and 35-year-old woman occupying the Dodge sustained minor injuries.

Winchester authorities are now investigating the Domenigoni Parkway crash.
