Traffic Collision on Cajon Boulevard Left One Elderly Woman Dead

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 8, 2022) – A vehicle crash on Ogden Street took the life of 61-year-old Maria Del Carmen Montes Wednesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:08 p.m. at the intersection of Cajon Boulevard and Ogden Street.

Per initial reports, Montes was a passenger in a vehicle that collided near the intersection for reasons unknown.

Unfortunately, Maria Del Carmen Montes succumbed to her injuries around 5:56 p.m. at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

However, the events leading up to the deadly incident remain unclear at this time. Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
