56-Year-Old Maria Chavez Died in Vehicle Accident on Manning and Elm Avenues

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 18, 2021) – Thursday morning, October 7, Maria Chavez, 56, has died in a horrific crash on Elm Avenue.

The crash took place at the road near the intersection of Elm and Manning avenues, as per report.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Chavez was driving an SUV when she suddenly drifted off the road. They said Chavez struck into a large tree and then attempted to escape the SUV, which wedged her between the vehicle and the tree.

According to CHP investigations, alcohol or narcotics do not appear to have played a role in this incident.

Meanwhile, The crash is still under investigation.
