Marcus Samuelsson, chef at New York's Red Rooster Harlem, will be cooking a special meal at Post & Beam, Govind Armstrong's Baldwin Hills restaurant.

The dinner, titled “Red Rooster at Post & Beam: A Taste Of Harlem in Baldwin Hills,” will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 26, and costs $140 per person, which includes tax and gratuity. From the press release:

[The dinner] commemorates Black History Month…featuring dishes that draw inspiration from each chef's diverse cultural roots and chef ideology such as Ethiopian Tacos with Injera Bread and Tartare; Braised Oxtail with Fried Plantains; and Crawfish Beignets with Honey-Beet Tartar Sauce.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles chapter of C-CAP, Careers through Culinary Arts Program, which helps prepare underserved high school students for careers in the culinary field. You can buy tickets for the event at brownpapertickets.com.
