54-Year-Old Man Killed in Traffic Accident on East Baseline Street

HIGHLAND, CA (July 15, 2022) – Tuesday evening, Marco Antonio Luna lost his life in a bicycle collision on Baseline Street.

The deadly crash occurred on July 5th. Dispatchers responded to the scene around 8:42 p.m., at the 26000 block of East Baseline Street.

According to reports, Luna was riding his bicycle in the area when he was struck by a passing vehicle. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident are still currently unknown.

Despite life-saving efforts, medical personnel pronounced 54-year-old Luna dead at the scene.

Investigators closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.

The family and friends of Luna started a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral expenses.
