Deadly Cathedral City Three-Vehicle Crash; Victim Identified

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (June 8, 2021) – Authorities identified Marc Stevens to be the victim of the multi-vehicle crash that happened on Saturday.

Officers responded to the accident around 1:00 p.m., at Dinah Shore and Cathedral Canyon Drive.

The events leading up to the accident remain unknown. However, three vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes just west of Dinah Shore.

Upon arrival, the responders pronounced one of the victims dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the other driver to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The Riverside County coroner’s office Sunday identified 59-year-old Marc Steven as the deceased victim of the crash.

The Cathedral Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the multi-vehicle crash. Once available, more information will be released.
