Model Brittanie Weaver says a perv “picked the wrong girl” when he used an iPad to take upskirt photos of her at a Sherman Oaks pet store in March.

The L.A. City Attorney's office this week might just be on its way to validating that claim. Prosecutors announced that suspect Julio Mario Medal, 38, has been charged in connection with Weaver's allegations:

He was arrested by the LAPD Wednesday based on a warrant, according to the City Attorney's office.

Medal was charged with suspicion of secretly videotaping for sexual gratification, unlawful loitering and attempted videotaping for sexual gratification, according to prosecutors.

All counts are “criminal misdemeanors,” the office says.

Authorities say that on March 15 Medal knelt down and pretended to pet Weaver's dog as he captured upskirt images with an iPad.

Weaver told us she caught the suspect red handed, read an ID badge hanging around his neck, and told cops where they could find him: He's a court interpreter, she said.

Oops.

The case received big headlines and now Weaver is represented by superstar attorney Gloria Allred.
