Hit-and-Run on 3rd Street Caused Two-Vehicle Crash

EUREKA, CA (November 4, 2021) – Police are searching for the suspect who caused a hit-and-run on 3rd Street, Friday morning.

The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m., when a 2-door Mercedes collided with a silver sedan, according to the Eureka Police Department.

Later on, the authorities determined that the driver of the silver sedan remained at the wreckage but the Mercedes driver fled the scene.

In addition, witnesses claimed that the hit-and-run suspect continued westbound on 3rd Street. At this time, Eureka Officials are working to identify the hit-and-run suspect.

Moreover, the total number of injured parties, as well as their identities, are currently unknown at this time.
