Pedestrian Fatally Struck near 56th Street and Thomas Road

PHOENIX, AZ (October 25, 2022) – Friday morning, a pedestrian crash near 56th Street claimed the life of a man.

The incident happened on October 21st, near the intersection of 56th Street and Thomas Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

According to reports, officers were called to the area where a man was struck by an SUV. The impact of the collision left the man with serious injuries.

First responders then transported the man to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds. 

Following the collision, crews shut down the area surrounding the crash for cleanup and preliminary duties.
