Pedestrian Hospitalized after Crash on Highway 180

Fresno, CA (March 30, 2021) – A man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian crash on Highway 180 in Fresno early Sunday morning, March 21.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 180 and De Wolf Avenue at around 2:30 a.m.

A car struck the male pedestrian as he was walking on the highway. The make and model of the car involved in the accident are still unclear at this time.

First responders located the man lying in the middle of the road. They transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, including multiple fractured limbs.

On the other hand, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
