Pedestrian Dead Following Traffic Accident near McHenry Avenue

MODESTO, CA (November 7, 2022) – Sunday night, a 31-year-old Modesto man was pronounced dead following a pedestrian crash on Roseburg Avenue.

The crash occurred at 11:00 p.m. near McHenry Avenue on October 23rd, according to initial reports.

The man was struck in the roadway under unknown circumstances, according to responding authorities. It also did appear that two vehicles struck him, police added.

The man was transported in an ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.  Officials are withholding his name until his family is notified.

Both drivers, on the other hand, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The presence of drugs or alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident.

Furthermore, a large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Authorities have yet to released any additional information regarding the fatal pedestrian crash on Roseburg Avenue.
