Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Pedestrian Crash on Bayou Way near Metro Air Parkway

SACRAMENTO, CA (December 1, 2022) – Thursday night, police responded to a pedestrian crash on Bayou Way that killed one man. Witnesses near Sacramento International Airport said that they saw a man with little clothing on, turn in front of a Nissan Sedan for reasons unknown. Furthermore, officers arrived at the scene at Metro Air Parkway and declared the man deceased. Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Consequently, a toxicology report was pending for the pedestrian to see if he is under the influence at the time of the collision. An active investigation is currently underway.
