Male Pedestrian Killed in Crash on 101 Freeway near Alameda Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 14, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, one man was pronounced dead after a pedestrian crash on 101 Freeway.

Police responded to the scene around 3:40 a.m., on the southbound lanes of the freeway near Alameda Street on November 9th.

Furthermore, officers arrived at the scene and declared one man in his 30s dead upon arrival due to his injuries. The identity of the deceased man was not yet determined, pending next of kin.

Meanwhile, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation into the pedestrian incident on the 101 Freeway is currently underway.
