Suspect at Large after Deadly Hit-and-Run Collision on Camelback Road
PHOENIX, AZ (September 28, 2021) – Early Monday morning, a man was pronounced dead after a hit-and-run crash on 83rd Avenue.
Phoenix police responded to the scene around 6:00 a.m., after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
According to reports, authorities located an unresponsive man upon arrival. Shortly after, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition, the driver of the vehicle that struck the man fled the scene without rending aid to the victim. Police have still not located the suspect at this time.
No further information has been released to the public. Officers encourage anyone with more details about the crash to contact them as soon as possible.
An active investigation into the hit-and-run crash on 83rd Avenue is still currently underway.
