Male Driver Killed in Two-Car Crash near Milepost Marker 19

CAJON VALLEY, CA (February 8, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a 39-year-old man was pronounced dead after a car collision on State Route 138. Police responded to the scene around 4:21 a.m., near milepost 19 on January 18th. As per the authorities, the collision between a blue Ford Explorer and a 2001 Dodge 1500. The Dodge driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle, was ejected, and was pronounced dead on the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported another person to a local hospital with critical injuries. The name of the injured has not been released due to pending notification of kin. Furthermore, the crash closed the area around SR-138 for clearing and preliminary operations. Cajon Valley authorities are currently investigating in the fatal collision at State Route 138.
