Amairani Villa Dead after Workplace Accident near South Western Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 4, 2022) – Tuesday morning, authorities said a work accident on West 81st Street claimed the life of Amairani Villa.

The incident happened at around 9:45 a.m. at the 1400 block of West 81st Street.

Villa was unloading a skid steer loader from a truck when the machine fell on top of him and he became trapped underneath. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found that the man had sustained fatal injuries.

Medical personnel pronounced 23-year-old Villa dead at the scene.
