Man Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near Clark Avenue

ORCUTT, CA (April 7, 2023) – Monday night, a man was killed and a woman was injured in a wrong-way crash on Highway 135. First responders arrived to the scene around 6:50 p.m., near the Clark Avenue off-ramp on April 3rd. Per reports, the driver of a white Honda Accord was heading the wrong way on the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a grey Toyota Rav4. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one man dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted a female driver to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, local authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased victim. Once available, further details will be provided about the wrong-way crash on Highway 135.
