Vehicle Collision on Tropicana Avenue East of Spencer Street Left One Fatality

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 14, 2022) – On Wednesday evening, a 24-year-old motorcyclist died in a vehicle crash on Tropicana Avenue.

The crash happened on Tropicana Avenue, east of Spencer Street at 7:28 p.m.

Furthermore, according to authorities, the collision involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Chevrolet van.

The motorcyclist was headed eastbound and the van was headed westbound on Tropicana making a left turn into a private driveway when the collision happened.

Consequently, the motorcyclist applied his brakes and left about 250 feet of skid marks before the crash.

Eventually, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

In addition, the 50-year-old driver of the van stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.

The intersection closed for several hours as an active investigation is currently underway.
