Street Vendor Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on Avenue S

PALMDALE, CA (October 21, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on 25th Street East. 

The incident happened around 9:00 p.m., at the intersection of 25th Street East and Avenue S. 

According to reports, a vehicle heading east on Avenue S struck another car that was stopped at a red light. The impact sent both vehicles onto the sidewalk, where one of the cars struck a street vendor who was selling balloons. 

First responders arrived and transported the severely injured pedestrian to nearby hospital where he later died. However, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.

Paramedics also transported one of the drivers to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. 

Those with further information are encouraged to contact Palmdale Officials as soon as possible. At this time, an active investigation into the pedestrian collision on 25th Street East is still currently ongoing.
