Male Victim Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Gage Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 30, 2023) – Saturday evening, one man was killed in a tanker truck accident on 110 Freeway. Around 7:09 p.m., police received dispatch calls on the southbound lanes of Harbor Freeway near Gage Avenue. At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a white van and a tanker truck collided in the area. Moreover, paramedics pronounced one man in his mid 40s dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency. Crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department said that the tanker truck did not spill its cargo. Officials issued a SigAlert around 7:25 p.m., to close down all southbound lanes of Gage Avenue.
